As fibre replaces copper the physical reliability of the connectivity landscape in the UK is improving, but things can and do go wrong elsewhere.

The connection from the Exchange to your premises is only one link in the chain, so how do you cope when things go wrong further up that chain?

The Evolving Networks Multi-VNO SDN Platform sits above the ISP, routing all our data through multiple, resilient carrier networks.

Nowadays that’s where the problems lie in the UK infrastructure. Because no ISP has embraced SDN, the most you can expect (if you’re lucky) is to have some visibility as far as the BT Exchange, but not along the circuit to your premises.

And as core networks grow in complexity and scale, they become more complex to manage, meaning issues of throughput, resilience become increasingly difficult to diagnose and fix.

Whether it’s an entire LNS going offline, or a complicated high latency issue where multiple engineers are needed to find and fix core router hardware, our MultiVNO Access Network means we quickly route around and smooth out those issues.

Line faults are detected quickly by our advanced telemetry gathering and orchestration systems, triggering automated workflows and remote tasks, reporting through carrier APIs and fixing issues as quickly as they can be.

This is private connectivity, with diverse broadband and ethernet platforms, delivered by us as superior network underlay for our Intelligent Network Fabric and supported by the rest of our ecosystem.

Every SD-WAN connection supplied by Evolving Networks is truly resilient – multiple tails, modems, platforms, RADIUS, LNS, peering points, datacentres, and IP Transit.

Evolving Networks operate as your ISP and above the ISP, ensuring that even a two line aggregated connection is resilient at every level.

And Multi-VNO is not the same as just having different circuits from different broadband providers.

have to manage those relationships, diagnose those faults, or worry if they all share the same floor in the same datacentre.
