Zero Touch QoS

Routing latency and jitter sensitive traffic over stable, low latency links is all well and good, but doesn’t it make sense to use the bandwidth at your disposal?

People assume that if they purchase an expensive Ethernet leased line that VoIP will “just work”; that QoS is inherent to leased lines. Well it isn’t and it won’t.

Whatever circuits you buy, you need to ensure a high quality user experience. That’s all they care about. That their cloud apps just work. They want uninterrupted, crystal clear VoIP calls, and lag free RDP.

So whether its for a leased line or for a multi-line SD-WAN connection, you need Zero-Touch QoS.

Because our connections use link aggregation, we can deliver all of the bandwidth all of the time. Our Zero-Touch QoS engine prioritises and de-prioritises data at the packet level, and in both upstream and downstream, without you having to reconfigure any hardware.

By identifying your time sensitive traffic as it appears (such as someone picking up a phone to make a VoIP call) and then prioritising those packets of data end to end across our network, we ensure that everyone gets what they need from each connection we deliver.

The intelligent bi-directional management and manipulation of data through our network, right into the customer site, means that bulk data transfers, web browsing, cloud apps and VoIP services all co-exist on resilient, high capacity internet connections, regardless of customer location.

This isn’t just rudimentary throttling, and it certainly isn’t the more common SD-WAN principle of directing traffic over single links. What a waste of bandwidth!

Business critical applications get the priority they deserve, with the protection that no one saturating your connection can cause other users issues.
