Why the Different Types of SD-WAN Matter

While the basic principle of SD-WAN – automatic, real-time routing of traffic across the most appropriate link – remains constant across all implementations, Evolving Networks’ implementation is unique in its intelligent traffic management.

Many providers encourage customers to build their SD-WANs on expensive Ethernet circuits, in conjunction with ADSL, and 3G and 4G connections. The strategy is to direct mission-critical and latency-sensitive traffic such as VoIP over the Ethernet links, and less critical data over the ADSL, with the 3G and 4G connections in place for fail-over purposes.

Evolving Networks implements SD-WAN over Bonded ADSL and Bonded FTTC, complete with our unique added-value WAN optimisation bundle – QoS, Bandwidth Amplification and Monitoring.
